Check the context for gaps
Detection finds problems seen in use. Checking the tree finds places where an agent would still have to guess.
cassis context check prints quality and schema-reference warnings for the local tree. Warnings do not fail validation, but they make missing context visible during review and CI. See Context commands.
- What it finds
- Tables that sit outside any domain, joins and metrics whose references no longer resolve, and objects with no description.
- What to do
- Open the file the warning names, add the missing context, and include it in the same pull request.
- When to run
- After the context is first built, after a large modeling change, and before wider rollout.
A missing description is not cosmetic. It removes the evidence an agent needs to choose the correct table or column.
