Projects

A project combines one data source with one ontology, one eval suite, and one review queue.

Before creating a production project, choose whether the ontology will be managed in git or in the web app. That decision determines where changes are made and published.

Create a project

An organization admin creates the project, names it, and connects a warehouse or uploads DDL. The data connection can be added later, but questions cannot run until Cassis has a schema.

What belongs to the project

Data source
One live warehouse connection or one uploaded DDL schema.
Ontology
The domains, tables, joins, metrics, and published version used by every answer.
Quality
Its eval suite and Review queue.
Management
App-managed, or one repository and configured ontology path.
Write access
Open to all editors, or restricted with domain permissions.

Members, roles, API keys, and the GitHub and Slack installations belong to the organization. Individual projects select their repository and Slack channel mappings.

Demo accounts include a deletable sample project. Production projects are not deleted from the app.
